Everything on Action Around Autos carries a byline. If a figure in one of our guides is wrong, you know exactly who to write to, and the correction goes on the page with a date. That is the whole point of putting names on work.
Our contributor covers all six sections rather than specializing in one, which keeps the coverage connected. A buying guide that ignores insurance costs is incomplete. A maintenance piece that never mentions resale value misses half the decision.

Daniel Carter is an automotive writer and researcher with a strong interest in vehicle technology, maintenance, ownership costs, and the changing automotive market. His work helps readers understand vehicle features, compare models, avoid common ownership problems, and make more informed buying decisions.
His approach starts with primary sources: EPA fuel economy data, IIHS and NHTSA test results, manufacturer service schedules, published recall notices, and insurance quotes pulled for the same driver profile across trims.
